Each book will appear in a separate subdirectory of the "My Kindle Content" folder with a file extension of ".azw". The Kindle for PC and Kindle for Mac programs use Amazon's KFX format for most books. There is also a new method (#6) using an old version of the Kindle for Android app described here. (Details in this thread.)This means that methods 1, 2, and 4 described below are no longer effective for those books. It's not fun but by following the guide above and creating a rooted Android emulator, you can use `adb` to get the key from an Android device though, it took me a full day to figure out what I was doing, but at least I can now deDRM and convert my Nook books.Important update: Amazon has made a change to their service so the books published since can no longer be downloaded using Kindle for PC or Mac versions prior to 1.39. (If you got your key before the old Nook desktop program was discontinued you could still you that old key though and would have no issues). The current way deDRM gets B&N keys is broken and unless someone figures out how the new Windows Store UWP gets the keys and replicates it in deDRM. The reason it currently fails and doesn't work in because it used methods found the Nook desktop program to get the key, but B&N has since discontinued all their desktop programs except a new one they have created on the Windows Store, but it uses a completely different method of obtaining the keys. However, the last time I said anything in this thread was 8 days ago, since then I went to the deDRM GitHub page and found an issue regarding the problem which mentioned this post: The configuration option I linked in the image is when customizing the deDRM plugin in Calibre.
